this project emerged from a simple mantra:

“cultivate wisdom.”

in some ways, cultivating wisdom may seem like a solitary act—a way of life for the individual. after all, it is often through our personally lived experiences that we develop our ways of understanding the world.

upon reflection, however, it becomes clear that the human experience is not something unique to oneself. it is a common language which unites eight billion people around the globe—each with an experience of life just as vivid, complex, and nuanced as mine or yours. and not only can we learn through our own experiences of life, but we can learn tremendously through the understandings arising from the lives of others.

thus, we had a basic realization:

wisdom emerges from the collective rather than the individual.

and from this realization, an idea was formed: to truly cultivate wisdom, we should

cultivate a community dedicated to the cultivation of wisdom.

this is  lexiconic.— a medium which enables people to  share  their personal phrases of wisdom with the world. it is an immersive space where — in contrast to the vast oversaturation of content on social media — we have together distilled deep insights from around the globe in a compact and accessible way.

the vision of  lexiconic. is four-fold:

• 1. cultivation — cultivate a community dedicated to the cultivation of wisdom.
• 2. distillation — construct a minimalistic platform where all typical noise has been eliminated, and  sharing  takes as compact a form as possible (a single phrase).
• 3. physicality — create and  embed  wisdom within the physical world, seeking to reclaim the environmental, experiential aspect of the idea.
• 4. expression — make the expression of both wisdom and  art  simple and easily accessible, providing a voice to those traditionally without voices, a medium to those who are yet to find their medium.
