this paraphrased quote (which has really stuck with me over the years) essentially stems from the following idea—regardless of where we are in life, we all strive for a lot of the same things: happiness, love, and success just to name a few.

it just so happens that each person's path is different, and it's important to not only take your path at your own pace, but to avoid comparing your path to others.
